But recent studies have focused that the color of the rose quartz is due to the occurrence of microscopic mineral fibers in the gemstone. This gemstone’s mention has also been made in historical facts pertaining to Greek mythology with a legend of Adonis and Aphrodite. In the legend, Aphrodite got wounded by a thorn bush while saving Adonis from an attack by Ares. When Aphrodite touched the white quartz, it was stained by the blood of Aphrodite which made it pink. Romans also adored this quartz; they used this gemstone as a gift of love. During ancient times rose quartz being used in jewelry and other ornamental objects. Thus this stone existed for thousands of years.
Rose quartz available from all around the world but the well-known fine quality come from Madagascar, Scotland, Russia and United States. Rose quartz beads can easily be integrated with other beads so as to make a multi-gem masterpiece. For example, when combined together, Rose and Lemon quartz beads showcase a stunning experience. When united with moonstone or pearl the effect is brilliant. If you come across rutile needles in the rose quartz, it will be remarkable combination of a star effect or asterism, which can only be seen in other gemstones like ruby and sapphire.
