Grossular Garnet Beads 
 

Grossular is the garnet with the greatest range of colors.  Our grossulars come in a variety of earth tones, primarily greens and browns.  In earlier centuries, grossular was mistaken for emeralds, topaz, and jade.  It was once even known as “Transvaal jade.”   Bead grossular garnets with amethysts, red garnet, citrine, and carnelian for a rich harvest of autumnal gems. 
 

Grossular takes its name from the pale green gooseberry, or in Latin, grossularius

These smooth, sparkling roundelles of natural grossular garnet beads  let you wear the colors of the forest, from bright leaf greens to rich earth browns.  
 

Our faceted roundelles of grossular vary from pale green to olive to brown.  Bead them with smoky quartz and amethyst. 
 

Faceted ovals of grossular garnet add elegance to any autumn wardrobe.  Mix them with amber, hessonite, and citrine and bronze or gold spacers.  
 

The hues in our flat, faceted grossular teardrops range from palest green to a smoky gray-green.  Set them off with clear and rutile quartz.
